Coronary Heart Disease
Coronary heart disease (CHD), sometimes called ischaemic heart disease, is one of the biggest killers in the UK, about 1 in 5 men and 1 in 8 womwn die from the disease. In the UK 2 million people affected by angina ( one of the most symptom of CHD, and about 2.7 million peole are living with CHD. Over 50 years of age the chances of developing CHD are similar in both men and women.
Conorary Heart main symptomms are heart attack and heart failure, however this not the same for everyone and in some case no symptoms may occurr before CHD is diagnosed.
